My recent travel destination
SAFRA Resort @Changi.
It has been refurbished and it is modern, comfortable, clean and spanking new!

LCD TV with cable channels, with HBO ok.

The appliance next to the sink is a chiller box; I am impressed at their thoughtfulness. It’s so much more convenient than to freeze ice-cubes which will take ages..longer than the event itself. Their utensils are clean and well stocked; cooking is a breeze, saving you the money of eating out. The smell that wafted from the next door neighbour’s cooking was so drool-worthy, but we have to settle for food bought at the resort. Rather expensive though if you eat out everyday. But I must say JUMBO seafood hor fun is really nice, expensive but their ingredients are really of good quality.

I did not have a lot of time to enjoy all the facilities; especially the tempting pool. It was beckoning to me, the sun and all…sigh..if not for the fact I was recovering from bronchitis.. Thus I decided to enjoy the sun on a bike. There is a beautiful stretch behind the bungalows for cyclists; it was a great way to enjoy the sun, wind and the sea.
My trusty bike which I rented, a bit wobbly but the scenery made up for it.

The beautiful trees along the way made the ride so pleasurable. I enjoyed the fact that there was practically no one around, which was rather odd. Singapore is such a human-infested place that it’s difficult to locate peace. But I found it here.
