Southern Ridges @ Henderson Waves
My friend, Wee Leng and I decided to explore this tallest pedestrian bridge in Singapore that day. It is part of the Southern Ridges which spans over a 9 km trail that connects West Coast Park, Kent Ridge Park, Hort Park, Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park together.
When I saw the bridge as we drove towards the Park, I was dreading the climb up. I mean, so tall must be an arduous climb up right? Thankfully it is far from truth; people working under this project must have thought like me too. The bridge was about 1 km away from the carpark.
I decided to do a black and white series, not much sunlight and contrast of colours. Impression of Henderson Waves is lines…and more lines.

One of the few shelters there. Quite nice looking shelters but I am not sure about practicality though, they are not rain-proof. Wonder how come the designers never think like me on this one?

To my friend, Wee Leng: Hey it came out quite ok on my camera after all
I asked her to help me take with her macro lens as what I saw on my camera did not look very nice.

It’s a nice place, not much lookout from there. Much of the view is blocked by our high-rise flats. I did enjoy the breeze as I sat at the shelter though.

Great Photos. The black and white photos capture the moods of the bridges correctly. Some of my photos in http://masug.blogspot.com
